Welcome to Assembly 2012, the gathering of Mennonite Brethren Churches in Manitoba! It is foolish for us to think that we can minister out of our own strength. It is also foolish to think that we can reach our cities and communities with smart strategies alone. We need God’s power and wisdom. We need prayer. We acknowledge that without connecting to the source of hope, we cannot offer hope to the world. The aim of this conference is to equip and resource churches in the area of prayer. Our hope is that we will be challenged to become churches that see prayer as a priority for ministry and life. Our speakers and workshop presenters will provide practical tools to help us create an atmosphere of prayer in our ministries.
